Crash after saving file

I sometimes get the following message (see attachment).  When I click OK the window giving the various fits options opens.  I click OK and continue.  PI crashes.
Running Windows 7

Note added:  The message in the attachment only appears when the STF is on (Obvious really!).  With no STF applied the file saves normally.

I cannot reproduce this problem on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. FITS files are always saved without any problems in all cases, with and without an active STF, irrespective of warning messages about data storage capabilities, with any combination of pixel sample formats and embedded data.
