Update, and if I try to create an xisf with BPP I get the error *** Error: No installed file format can write .xisf files.

Please advise

Please search the Forum, or see http://pixinsight.com/faq/index.html 3.9.

Good day Georg,
In the FAQ I do not find an answer to this problem, and if I search the forum for "xisf file" it returns the documents specifications of the file but nothing that could explains my problem.

It does not tell me why nor give any hint why I am not able to open anymore (since this evening) xisf files created on this PC yesterday evening.....

a bit more help than 'search the forum' will be appreciated.

Thanks and best regards
Marco
