4K Monitors & Icon Sizes
« on: 2015 June 06 05:02:44 »
Hi,

I have a new laptop with a 4k display.  Resolution is outstanding on photos but it can make for very small menu font or small icons in a few programs.  I have all my programs displaying satisfactorily now by setting windows display settings to 250%.  My icons in PI are still very tiny though (drop down menus look fine).  Is there any way to adjust icon sizes within PI to make them bigger?

No responses so guess there isn't a way.  I also found another post a while back with a similar question and no response.  Just a suggestion to the developers to address this as some point since more and more people will be buying the ultra high resolution monitors.  I can get by with the tiny icons for now but I do have to squint to see them.

Hi Tim, by sure Juan is working on that

Quote from: Juan Conejero
with 4K and Retina monitors becoming standard in a few months, I have to redesign the whole graphical interface of the PixInsight Core application, including different versions of every icon and a new control rendering engine.

Saludos, Alejandro
