PreProcessing Failure
« on: 2015 May 22 19:58:57 »
I have been successfully using Pixinsight for a number of months.  Following a lock up yesterday, I can no longer get flat frames calibrated into a master flat.
Using Imageintegration it appears to load the mastwer bias but gives the message
ignoring 2 additional images in mastercalibration...at the end of this bit
It then goes on to load the master dark but ends this process with the same message and then stops with the message
ERROR Incompatible image geometry Failed.
I have uninstalled and reloaded Pixinsight with no improvement

2 days ago this worked perfecty with the same data that failed today with the above errors
HELP

Stew,

Incompatible image geometry can be 2 images of the wrong size, say one image is 2408x1200 and another is 2406x1200 for what ever reason. Also different number of channels from one image to another.

Stew,

If I understand your post correctly, you are processing your flats with both a master dark and a master Bias?  If they are relatively short duration sub flats (say 3 sec or less) try just using the bias.  If longer try just using the dark (matched for same length as the flat iterations.  Should solve the problem.

Hope that helps,

Jim
