Image Calibration Failure
« on: 2015 May 11 02:06:37 »
Hi All
I am trying to combine images taken with two different telescopes and cameras ,when calibrating the light frames from my Canon 1100d I get the error as per attached TEXT doc & jpg. Same camera used for all the canon exposures.

I calibrated the lights from my Nikon with no problem even after converting master dark, bias, flat from tiff (DSS) to fit for calibrating the lights.

Any help appreciated

Thank you

Hi
Found problem the calibration process can not distinguish between images with different rotation.

Thanks

Hi Bennie,

Here's the problem:

Reading FITS: 32-bit floating point, 3 channel(s), 4290x2856 pixels: done

You are using calibration frames and light frames with different sizes.

Tip: use BBP script, from the beginning. Maintain all preprocessing inside PI, and enjoy :D

Greetings!

Enzo.

Thank you Enzo
I shall use the script in future , very much new to PI.
After I turned all the frames to match the orientation of the lights the calibration was successful.

I have old data that I shall now reprocess entirely in PI.

Thanks for the help.
