I've been using PI on windoze but wanted to switch over to BSD since that is what I usually use. What a nightmare install. libraries missing stil can't get one to load. But the problem that really has me stumped is the update2 app dies. Permissions are all right don't understand what is going on. I must say I'm highly disappointed with this install program. At least there should be a readme about all this and how to solve it. Most people aren't Unix Admins. I am a retired one and its still a pain. Need a list of composting window managers that will work and solving all these library issues and the updater issue. You guys develop on BSD I picked the one you use figuring it would be good to go. Windoze install works perfectly. Not a happy camper I paid 300 bucks for something that won't install properly on the platform it was developed on. The program is great once its installed. But getting it to come up and work on BSD is far from ready for prime time.
