For a series of unguided images, that's a pretty impressive start and shows great hope for the future.  Since they are so easy to take, I would definitely take more dark and bias frames.  Personally, I shoot 100 darks and 500 bias frames to build my masters, though I have the advantage of using a cooled CCD to control the temp.  But the more subframes the more you beat down the noise.

Best,

Jim
Really, are clear skies, low wind and no moon that much to ask for?

Modified camera would help a lot with those Ha regions, but nevertheless your image is excellent.

Thank you Zocky...
I just brought my 60D + clear glass filter (from Hap Griffin) to a technician for modification.
And, I'm waiting for my Orion SSAG from USA to my country.
Hope I can collect more data in the future :)
