combining images of different sizes/dimensions
« on: 2014 November 28 18:02:31 »
Hi, I am thinking of working collaboratively with another person, combining our data from different imaging sessions. But of course his images will be of different sizes to mine, being a different camera. Is there a tool or process in PI that enables the easy combination of such images? A setting change in the batch preprocessing script? Or would I need to methodically resize each image before integration/calibration?

Thanks

Simon

I would first separately calibrate the subs from each camera. You can tick "calibrate only" in the BPP script. Then register with the Star Alignment process, which doesn't care about image size. Follow with Image Integration and then crop to the common area.
