Been using Pixinsight to stack some images and have a couple questions.

So I have searched and search for what bayer matrix my Nilon D90 DSLR is.  I pre-processed using two different choices and did not see crazy differences.  One did give a red background that I could remove with DBE tool.  Any suggestions on the best choice?

Also is their a quick and easy to decide which light frame should be used and the calibration image?  I have picked on that looks good by eyesight, but I am guessing that are more quantitative means?

Thanks.

Hi Waterbourne!
You drag and drop one of your NEF Files on to the Workspace,
after this you can see in the ProcessConsole  the Filter pattern which is usually GBRG.... for NEF Files.

For checking the Quality of the lights i use in the first step the Blink Process to get a fast overview whats in principle good or bad.
Some use the SubframeSelector Script for mathematical analyses.
