Problem after Deconvolution
« on: 2014 July 20 10:00:48 »
Hello all,

after deconvolution I wanted to transfer the triangle to another image (to previews of another image), I could move it only once but not the second time. Apply button works. The icon "undo preview" was unavailable, icons "Undo" and "Redo" too. Menue Preview is in most instances deactivated. Can execute Undo, Redo only with History Explorer.
I closed the tool Dec and opened again, I set default, it was the same.
What happened, what did I wrong? Who can help?
Thank you

Regards Gerhard

Bernard I hope someone capable will solve your problem, it is too in depth for me but seeing the best replies are for biggest bang for your buck and best monitor for pixinsight, I truly expect that you will have to find the answer yourself. Good luck and hope you can find the answer to your problem.

Hi Gerhard,

Maybe a long shot, but do you have disabled the splash screen? If yes, try to enable it and restart PixInsight  (menu Edit > Preferences... > Main Window / Startup > Show splash at startup). Some times in Windows I see some crazy menu behaviors, and go away when splash screen are enabled.

Best regards,

Enzo.

Thank you, Peter and Enzo,

nothing to do with the splash screen, after closing and restarting PI and PC the main problem was solved. But a new small one arised, I couldn´t make a new preview from the second image, icon was deactivated. After saving and reopening this image all was okay.
Peculier behavior, I never had it with PI within three years.

Best regards    Gerhard
