Gamma Cygni Region - Dust and Hydrogen
« on: 2014 June 11 00:02:47 »
Hello Pixinsight,

I did my first picture since October last year because of bad weather and time.

First run of my new NEQ6 and Findescope Guiding

Sadr Region with EOS400 modified on Skywatcher ED80 with Flattner. 24 x 480 sec, Flats, Darks, Bias. Amazing Dust and Hydrogen Region.

Very nice gamma cyg.  Just a hair wider and you would have pulled in the Crescent to boot.  Great work!

Nice image!

If you would like to reduce the halo in the big star, you can try StarHaloReducer script, It's a bit laborious, but you can minimize the effect quite well.
