A few nights ago I did 46 shots of the moon with a Nikon D700 and a 400mm lens on a regular tripod. I wanted to try Juan's FFT Registration script and it worked like a charm. I also ran deconvolution and some minor sharpening. I want to try this again with perhaps a better focus and a full moon but I like where this is going.
