Help: Cant read mouse over tooltips completely
« on: 2014 June 02 02:08:55 »
Hi all,

I just bought PI 1.8 some days ago and got some questions which I didn't find to solve for now:

If the mouse is moved over some settings, sometimes there are tooltip shown for this feature, in my case I sometimes cant read the tooltips completely , because the tooltip window is to small for the complete text. Are there any setting to change the resolution for that tooltip window / text or something  like that ? (I use a 24" Monitor set to resolution: 1920 x 1080)

Is it normal that most of the FITs Header Information are lost (Pixel size, temperature etc. from Maxim DL ) if I save the pic under PI, or can I just "enable " something to save all Fits Header Information's automatically which have been stored already ?

Best wishes

Thomas

Don't know if there is an update about tooltips behaviour, but if you move to another parameter to show a new tooltip and you come back to the first it'll show well.

Have fun!

Didn't realize if you move the mouse one back or one forth then again to the field you want , you can read the text.. thanks for that "trick" Sergio :-)

Maybe there is also an easy "trick" / setting to keep the original stored FITs Header Information's ?

I know about some problems with "evaporated" fits keywords, but as I use an DSLR I haven't fought against them. Perhaps is better to open a new thread with that problem in the title to get more attention.

Have fun!
