I am confused, when I combine my R,G and B images I get a blue background image.  How can I verify that the fits used were truly taken with the correct filters? I uploaded the fits to:

Uncheck this button on ScreenTransferFunction. Your image is blue because it is not background neutralized and color calibrated yet.

Thank you. I did try that. I am concerned because I never ran into this issue before. The blue tint goes away once I do that but color still looks odd. This is an RGB from an SBIG8300 . I see this when I use my DSLR but this is the first time I see it with the CCD camera.  Is this normal?

Background neutralization and color calibration should (in a perfect world) remove the blue tint.

Thank you.  Is this common even for CCD cameras?

Thanks. First time I had to deal with it.  What is the fundamental reason for that? Sky conditions?

Gradients, incorrect weights, blue leds in your observatory.

In my case it was the reflection of the ir illuminator of one ip camera over the dome of my neighbor.
