Hi There,

to get more comfortable with PI, i´d like to process some Data of an Ha BW Picture. What are the suggested Tools to enhance such Pictures in Contrast, Details and make it more spectacular?

Looking forward to all you suggestions.

depending on the target, some tone compression with HDRMultiscaleTransformation can expose details, but will leave your contrast a little lacking.

so then the standard "S" curve gets you some contrast and for contrast in the details you can use LocalHistogramEqualization. i usually use sparing amount (0.2-0.3) with the other parameters left at defaults, thru a mask, so as to not enhance details in low SNR areas.
