Just a cherry on the cake:
Would it be possible to have a variant (or modification of the default) of 'Save as...' which would use the view id as the default file name instead of the last file name used.
I found that I use Save As I certainly do not want to use the same file name, and usually it is because I changed the name of the image and want the file to reflect it. Ideally the default directory should be the one of the last save as, not the one the image was loaded from.
