LRGB question for 1x1 binned L and 2x2 RGB
« on: 2013 November 08 14:54:23 »
Hi,

I am a newbie and coming up to speed using Harry's tutorials (thanks for excellent tutorials, Harry).

I am at the LRGB combination part of Harry's newbie tutorials.

I select the L (1x1 bin) as source and RGB (2x2 bin) as target. Then I go through the process (dynamic alignment) to get an LRGB image after LRGB combine.

How do I know whether the final LRGB is 1x1 or 2x2 ?

Visually in PI it appears to be smaller than the original L image plus the RGB target implies it is binned 2x2.  Am I missing something?

Hi

I need to update that vid  :-[

I would just use star alignment and select your Lum as reference and apply to the binned Data and the new

RGB will rescaled to match the Lum  :-*
