Chrominance noise

Hi all,
Is the mottled background I get when I process my images, the same as chrominance noise ?
I know it is probably caused by stacking not enough lights, but is it possible to remove it (partially ) with ACDNR or Atrouswavelets ?

Probably, but a pic would be useful. I would suggest TGV denoise as the best way to handle this.

Here is a crop of the jpeg.
I'm not sure if you can see the mottling.
Otherwise I will send a dropbox link
