Documentation missing in the process explorer

when browsing the processes in the process explorer, i get this error a lot. (os x/1.8rc4)

example: Tool documentation not available: MorphologicalTransformation

I get the same error. I'm using version 1.8 RC7. Just downloaded today.

yes for better or worse a lot of processes do not have built-in documentation. this is mainly because juan does not want to write bogus help files like you see in a lot of crapware - "the saturation slider controls the saturation" or something like that. when he writes documentation, he writes the *hell* out of it. cf: ImageIntegration.

many of the newer processes have pretty extensive forum posts/tutorials that juan has written, for instance MultiscaleMedianTransform and TGVDenoise. unfortunately these are not linked from inside PI itself.
