Using Masks in Pixel Math

Does anyone know if mask application is possible in Pixel math??

well, you can of course have a mask on your image when you apply the pixelmath expression... just like the application of any other process. do you have something more complex in mind?

Well..according to this (http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=1684.0) u cant have a mask while for example adding 2 images.
I just want to add image1 and image2, while protecting a certain part of image1.
By applying the mask to image1 and then performing the pixelmath addition it just wont protect the piece of image1 the mask is supposed to protect.
