My interpretation of M82 for your perusal. Acquired in MaximDL, calibrated and processed in PI.

Luminance - 16h 20m x 10m subs
Ha - 10h 30m x 15m subs
Red - 5h x 10m subs
Green - 4h 30m x 10m subs
Blue - 4h 30m x 10m subs

Total time - 40 hours and 50mins

Planewave 12.5" CDK, PME, QSI 583 with astrodon HaLRGB filters, MaximDL, FocusMax, CCDAP, TheSkyX
Nerpio, Spain.

This is my second image from this location and this equipment, I am working on a mosaic to M81.

I would be interested in your comments.

I visit Norway quite a lot, but I have never seen an aurora.

Hehe, yes I know, and that beer offer is still standing you know! Things are fine up here although I'm a bit down as astronomical darkness is gone and with it the season for dso-photography. Norwagian spring and summer can be truly wonderful though, if we get the right weather mind you.
