Dear PI community,
I read some messages according to PI crashes and/or GUI problems under Windows.
Up to now, I could not reproduce any of these problems, until today.
Maybe this is related to user privileges under windows OS.
I can reproduce GUI problems (i.e. freezing forms, cannot enter any data into forms or strange mouse
behaviour), when PI is running under an account with no administrator rights. So sometimes
I can even cause a crash.
If I start PI with an account with administrator privileges, everything works fine (and no crashes!).
Maybe this will be helpful for further investigation.
Do the other PI users, who expect problems with PI, also run PI with no admin rights ?
I am not sure, but this may be a cause between PI and the QT libs, where rights may not be granted as needed ...
