Hi !
Normally the area is covered by a single image but for me that has got an SX-H9 and a Meade 102mm Ed it had to be a mosaic. Never tried to build a mosaic before so it has been an interesting but also frustrating time. Most frustrating was creating the "master" frame. Problems was a result of bad planning. The orientaion of the camera for taking the different panels could have been a lot better.
The mosaic has been build by 5 panels where each of the panels consists of about 15*600sec Ha exposures, SX-H9 and Meade 102mm Ed.
The RGB is from a 2 year old image taken with an unmodified Canon EOS400d in a Skywatcher 80mm Equinox.
Ha and RGB is combined by use of the excellent HaRVB script.
It has been fun and interesting to see that the support for building mosaics is excellent and that integrating images from different telescopes and cameras is even easier. So for me it has been a good investment for the future with hopefully better results.
