1.8RC5 PCL Win32 System Exception
« on: 2013 March 28 11:32:16 »
Sorry to post this. Somewhat hard to reproduce, observed in 1.8RC5 and also 1.8RC4 on Win7.

1) Open and close multiple images, use auto STF, zoom and pan.
2) Run Blink script, add and delete multiple images, zoom and pan.
3) Open Deconvolution process dialog, select External PSF, choose view. View is a 7x7 n1 f32 Gray image of a Moffat PSF.
4) System Exception alert.

Hi Mike,

Bug confirmed. I have reproduced it on Windows and Linux. Simplified sequence:

- Open an image.
- Create a little preview (say 7x7 pixels).
- Extract the preview as a new image window.
- Open Deconvolution and select the extracted preview image as external PSF.

This leads to an access violation *sometimes*. Usually after repeating the same sequence a few times; sometimes it doesn't happen. After the access violation, the external PSF section of Deconvolution cannot be used anymore.

Sorry for the issue. I'll try to find a solution ASAP.
