I'm just working through my first LRGB on PI and so far I do not see any significant difference in the color calibration results between inputting external data for the color weights (i.e. predetermining the RGB weights using, in my case, Excalibrator program, or perhaps G2V for others) and just using the structure detection algorithm (in my case) in the color calibration process. I am very curious what more experienced users, particularly those who have inputted external data for their color weights before (perhaps in other programs other than PI), think now about this whole thing. Perhaps with PI this is no longer necessary?
Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Maybe the thread "About our color calibration methodology" can be helpful
