I am using Star alignment with Frame Adaptation to put panels of a mosaic together.  The registered input images have some black borders around, but after Frame Adaptation those borders are gray, which messes up the matching of the "real" image data. I would like to find a way to tell it to just leave 0s alone, so they are not considered in the adaptation and are left as 0 in the output. It seems like I might be able to use an input hint to get it to ignore them, but I'm not having any luck finding an example.

I would appreciate any pointers or advice on how to get Frame Adaptation to ignore zero valued pixels...

Thanks,

Bret

Hello

You could first use dynamic crop in order to cut out those black borders.
If there are to many images to cut, you can drop the dynamic corp instance into the work place
and the  use an image container, select all images, and  drop it onto de dynamic crop icon.
