Corrupted shared image structure errors
« on: 2013 January 27 19:13:04 »
Recieved numerous corrupted shared image structure errors when closing out of individual files that may have still had an open, but un-linked, clone.  Not sure about the exact circumstances.

Hi,

Are you using version 1.8.0 RC1? If yes, then please install version 1.8.0 RC3, which is a production/stable version. These problems should not happen on RC3.

I got that error several times last night on my Win7 64-bit PC running 1.8 RC3.  My repeatable procedure was:

- Open a FIT Lum image file
- clone image by dragging upper left edge "tag" and dropping in workspace
- operate on image (various operations, undo, redo, with and without previews)
- save the cloned image to disk with a new name
- close the original FIT image file

and got the error every time.  It didn't seem to cause any subsequent grief, but it looked like a serious enough error that it might be a problem later (orphaned pointers, or whatever).

Just another data point for you.

I get the error every time I close an image that's been operated on. I've reopened them and there doesn't seem to be any issues.
