Narrowband Hubble combine question
« on: 2013 January 22 07:45:31 »
Hi,

When combining HA;S2;O3 to make an RGB, do you just use the same method shown in the video on LRGB combination (NGC 1808 Example) ? Also, coming from Photoshop I usually stretched the images first and worked with them as Tiff files before combining. In the video example it looks like the combination was made with the fits files before stretching. I'm assuming pixel math could be used to modify the result. Are there any processing examples on line that demonstrate the whole workflow in a narrowband nebula ? (working on the Jellyfish IC 443)

Thanks so much for any replies

Marc
