yes, I confirm that I was stupid enough not to read your installation and activation instructions carefully. Actually I even failed at Step 1, removing the trial first. Therefore I unfortunately tried to use my new commercial activation code on the already installed trial package. That failed. I logged in to distribution system, compared version number to my installed version, didn't notice the difference (-c and -t) and so it was my believe I have the latest already.
Now the activation code is invalid, most likely due to my try.
I'm not sure if somebody is monitoring the support email address during christmas season. There I have sent a email with my details. Maybe somebody can check about that?
