Dear PI Community,

I now own a new ATIK 383L+ CCD Camera with Ha/SII/OIII Narrowband-Filters.
Beside the common known objects for narrowband imaging - which astronomical catalogue
is recommendable for searching sky objects for emission in Ha/SII or OIII ?

I am mainly interested in emission nebulae in our milkyway for planning the next targets.
Is there also a possibilty to explore which emission lines are produced by an object ?

Thanks for answering !

Christoph

Kind regards,
      Christoph

Hello Philippe,

what a huge collection. I will investigate it.
I also found a very interesting Application : http://aladin.u-strasbg.fr/aladin.gml -> Aladin Sky Atlas
with some filtering possibilities
and http://www.sky-map.org/

Thanks for your reply.
Kind regards,
