I am in the situation, where I has sold a camera and no longer can take new calibration files and I want to process an image in PI. I still have master cal files that I created with Maxim DL. I had all the cal boxes checked in Maxim's advanced dialog when I created them.
Reading the forums, I think I have worked out that I can convert my old maxim master calibration files for use in PI using pixel maths so they will work in the batch preprocessing script.

The master bias remains untouched.
I add the master bias to the maxim master dark to create a PI master dark
The master flats remain the same ( already without bias)

Does this make sense?
regards
Chris

i would guess that all 3 masters are represented in the same format, so shouldn't you apply the same transformation to all 3?

I am sure you did your evaluations,
But considering that you have one only  image to process and that you cannot take advantage of the rejection math provided by pi to build the masters, I would calibrate the light frames in maxim and then move to pi.( in that specific case only, of course:-))
If the camera was temp regulated, I don't think you loose anything, excepted for slight temp off set correction that you could apply in pi.
