Hi all,

I just purchased PI after using the free trial version a couple of months ago.
At that time I wasn't aware of this forum but a member of my astronomy club did mention Harry Page's video tutorials, and I learned a lot from them. I also like the step by step approach with comments why these steps are needed, instead of a one click solution.
But this forum is a real treasure chest ! For the moment I'm still upgrading my equipment, so I don't expect being able to produce the kind of images presented here, but I will be trying to make the best ot of them.
At this time I'm using a Canon 450d with a 200mm FD lens and a Achromatic Refractor without field flattener.
I will try not to correct my hardware issues with software tools.
So one of these days I will try to post some of my results here. And hopefully pick up a few new tricks along the way.
Eddy

Hi Eddy:

How are you mounting an FD lens to your 450D?

The lens belongs to a colleague of mine. Apparenty there is some sort of adapter with an extra lens connecting the 200mm lens to the camera body.
