All of this requires advertising and partnership.

Now you're talking, indeed. It's jst that the 1st issue had a feeling as a project that would be produced entirely by you guys, and somehow I have the feeling that you're also "kind of" busy with "a few" other things  8)

Probably you are right. However we have what we have. Most hardware vendors are in the US, and the only way we have to contact them is by email. We cannot talk to them personally. This is one of our handicaps.

Consider using YOUR own contacts sometimes, as a first step. Some of them may know people...
That doesn't guarantee anything, but for good or bad, many relationships are still built by means of having a common friend or acquaintance doing the introductions.

I wouldn't go on a vendor witch hunt after reading Juan's email unless I had all the facts.
That is not what I intended to communicate, by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I understand the fact that most of them didn't even respond. After all, we are very small and our visibility is even smaller, especially for hardware vendors because they are not in direct touch with software users. So the "OMG such an excellent software, how come nobody wants to advertise?" idea is not in my mind. This is just another nice project that turns out to be an illusion. A bit painful but we are accustomed :)

No no... Those lines were not addressed to you or the PTeam, but to everyone else commenting on the situation. In other words, I wasn't talking about you but about some of the feedback we read in this thread after your explanation. You're not the one who said "OMG such an excellent software, how come nobody wants to advertise?" but others have expressed that idea (say, Geoff asking you to tell us some of those rude vendors, or Caliu "poniendolos de tontos para arriba" - that's what I meant by vendor witch hunt), and likely others who didn't reply probably had a similar thought crossing their mind. Which makes sense, and like I said, there's still many idiots out there, but things aren't really that black or white IMHO.

I wasn't being serious.  It would have been quite improper for Juan to have released this information
