A short introduction

Hi all.

I felt before I started posting/relying, I should make some sort of introduction of myself. Thought this was the best place to do so.

My name is Lonnie (obviously) and I am from Canada. I'm almost completely new to astrophotography, about 3 months experience. My main equipment used is a 9.25" Edge-HD on a CGEM-DX mount, 80mm Skywatcher Equinox and a Edmund's Clear Glass modified Canon 550D (T2i). I'm currently using PixInSight trial version and quite frankly couldn't be more happy with it. It does have a bit of a learning curve but all the tutorials have made it MUCH easier for me, thanks for that!

Anyway, I would like to say hello to all the other members on here.

Hi Lonnie,

Welcome to PI World. I'm a fellow Canuck, although living in Oregon now. I think you will find the whole PI experience very satisfying, and that it will greatly improve your astro image processing as you gain experience.

Plus, think of all the money you'll save by not having to buy all those other add-on packages!
