Update asking for password on trial version
« on: 2012 April 04 06:55:24 »
There's new updates available, but when I try to download and install them PI is asking for a username and password.  Since I'm still trialing the software, why would it be asking for any type of authentication?

The core update fixes several bugs that allow using some new modules, so I'd like to get this installed and tested.

Hi Craig,

Core updates work exactly the same irrespective of the type of license (commercial, trial or unlimited). Simply enter your user name and password (the same you use to access our software distribution system) and there should be no problems.

I do still wish that PI would stash the distro login information somewhere so I don't have to look it up when updating.
