Problems to move from Windows to Mac OS
« on: 2012 January 15 07:14:21 »
Hi,

I just downloaded Pixinsight for the Mac OS X. After using the program for years now on several Windows PC with a commercial license I tried to install it on the MAC.
However, when I start the downloaded program it asks me for user ID and license code. It doesn't accept the original one emailed to me and i have no clue how I can transfer the .pixinsight-license file to the mac (where to put, how to rename it, how to make it known to the installer?) Can anybody help me here?

Best regards,
Guido

You used the Mac activation code right? Look for the license e-mail with the directions. I was going to cut and paste here but it has my personal information for my license so not a good idea.
