Preparing for Skytools
«
on:

Hi all,
in order to prepare myself for the arrival of my skytools 3 copy, I need to take some value off of some images I've taken.
How does one read ADU values with pi?
Also, is pi adding any pedestal TO the reading?
Thanks!

Try under Process::Image::Statistics.
Select for the range: 16 bit.
If you know the full well depth and gain of your camera, you can even count the electrons.
And when that is not enough: in the the information bar at the botom of the screen you can see the pixelvalue of the actual mouseposition.
