Display problem
« on: 2012 January 10 11:28:42 »
Hi

If you open the docs for a tool that has none it makes a bit of a mess of the process explorer ( see attached)

You can get round it by dragging the box open and then closing it , took me hour to work this out  ;)

all on win 7 64 bit

Hi Harry,

Bug confirmed. It happens on all platforms, and happens for all tools irrespective of whether they have documentation or not.

Workarounds: (1) Manually resize Windows Explorer by dragging the border opposite to its docking side (docked at the left by default), or (2) leave the ProcessExplorer window with its extension visible.

This is a regression in version 1.7.4. I'll try to release an update ASAP. Thanks for reporting and sorry for the ugly thing.

You also can click on the location arrow on the top bar and select floating.

Thanks very much for posting this, Harry. It looks like I wasn't the only one seeing this bug - glad it's not just my computer  :)

And thanks to Juan for working on a fix - it will be nice to have Process Explorer back.
