Multiple PI instances

Hi,

if I start multiple instances of PI, each instance seems to use its private set of settings, e.g. for number of cores used or the RAW format options. This behaviour is unusual (I have not seen it with any other application), and has caused headaches more than once. May I suggest that the second, third etc. instances of PI ask on startup which profile to use, and use the main profile by default?

Hi Georg,

I agree that a more sophisticated management of multiple application instances would be highly desirable. I'll try to include it in version 1.8.0.
