ImageIntegration of Canon 5DII raw files?
« on: 2011 December 27 02:55:12 »
Hi there.  Was doing some widefields with my 5DII and have some CR2 and DNG bias and dark files I'd like to intergrate into masters.

If I use the ImageIntegration tool, I can't select CR2 or DNG files.  Am I missing a step?  I would have thought this should work directly on the raws?

Convert your raw files to a .fit format with (BatchFormatConversion) script under Script/Batch Processing/  for ImageIntegration. Here's some basic PI work flow directions.

And I should add this link for a complete understanding of ImageIntegration by Juan, it's a little overwhelming but try to pick out the main points.

Thanks mate.  That batch script is the one I was missing.  I'm used to using FITS files from the get-go with my CCD camera, first time I've tried the 5DII raw files.  All good now.
