Any Workshops Coming Up?
« on: 2012 January 06 07:46:28 »
With the new year comes hope eternal, or something like that! With the upcoming conferences of NEAF/NEAIC and MWAIC around the corner, are there any planed workshops scheduled? I've had some wonderful help recently with respect to masks and haven't tried any of that new information just yet due to getting a bunch of loose ends taken care of before I get a knee replace in the next few weeks but I'd like to get any plans I can for upcoming workshops and so on at least on the calendar. I'm going to do my best to make it to NEAF/NEAIC as I haven't missed this conference in years and find it very informative. I haven't made it to the MWAIC yet but had planned on last year but they didn't have it last year so this year it's looking good and is planned for. I find these workshops extremely helpful plus a great way to get newly interested people into this very powerful program. It may not come across very well but I'm a huge fan of PixInsight and post the PI logo under my images on the webpage that links to the PI website. I haven't been very descriptive with a through description of what PI processes were used but plan to get a bit more descriptive in that on the image main page. As I do mention on that page, the only use I have for Photoshop these days on these images is making the JPG files for posting and then mostly because I have a direct feedback on the size of the file as I adjust image size and JPG quality. It helps in keeping these image files from being overly large.

Good idea. I'd sign up for another one.
