Trifid and lagoon nebula
« on: 2011 December 12 11:21:14 »
Hi

M8 and M20 fully processed with PI.

22x600 sec  CCD  QHY12 (OSC)  Epsilon 180 f2,8 500mm

Master frame calibration and generation > Background/Colorcalib. > HDRW>Histo > ACDNR >> Photoshop.

I am 100% satisfied with the color calibration, even if I compare this with the result of Theli.

M8 / M20

Very nice indeed Edmund. I think you've really nailed this one, both the Trifid and Lagoon aswell as the dusty areas in between. Any particular reason you're using the old HDRW instead of the HDRMT?

Congratulations on a splendid image!

Clear skies,
Ginge

In fact, I've used HDRMT and not HDRW, still confused with the abbreviations ;)
