Update Fail - Win 7 Home 64 bit
« on: 2011 October 18 19:06:27 »
Sorry about this but I just installed the latest PI from the Downloads section.  Inserted my saved pixinsight.license file into C:\Users\myname and I am able to start PI.  It tells me I have some upgrades but when it tries to download one of them, it requires my user id and activation code.  I copy and paste from my initial email, taking care to have only the supplied characters and I get  'Unauthorized/invalid file transaction. The server says Bad Authentication.'  The upgrade in question is http://update.pixinsight.com/20110716-windows-x64-core-c.zip  All the other upgrades dowloaded and installed OK.  I can still use PI but each time it tells me this upgrade is available.

What it requires is your user name and password. These are the same you use to access our software distribution site.

Thanks for the quick reply Juan.  That, of course was my problem.
