i was in the path of totality and managed to get some images, but they were not well-framed. it is going to take me some days to process them.

the weather in eastern wyoming was iffy all the way up until the day of the eclipse, and then it was "severe clear"! we got very lucky - today it is cloudy.

it was an amazing experience.

Glad you got the experience rob.

I was lucky enough in the spring of 1970 to see that total eclipse. I was just a teenager at the time but I remember it like it was yesterday. This time we only had 85 percent coverage but it was still cool. I decided at the last moment to get some simple shots. The coolest is the last couple of minutes of the eclipse in a video. It's terrible quality but still cool. I sped it up by a factor of 4.
