Loading TIF image fails

Hi all,

I'm trying to open a TIF file (tried both a regular TIF and TIFF-16), both times with the same error:

TIFF Error:
<my filename>
SubjectDistance: Rational with zero denominator (num = 4294967295)

Any ideas anyone what that might be?

Thanks. Posted it there... I guess I didn't consider this could be a bug, just an unsupported file format. Which, in its own right, is probably a bug!

I can confirm that Pixinsight can not open your file.

Juan: I have tried to open it using another application that uses libtiff and it can do it.

Yes, I am aware of this problem (I have already answered the corresponding post on the bug reports board). The solution seems to imply hacking libtiff's code. I hate and always try to avoid hacking standard libraries but this time I guess I am catched...
