License Key not working....

Howdy,

I had to upgrade my OS from XP 64 to Win 7.  I copied my license key to my user folder, but PixInsight does not recognize it and keeps asking me for a name and activation code : (

What should I do?

either the file got corrupted or you're not putting it in the right place. Or perhaps it got renamed. Only 3 options

My license file (W7-64) sits in c:\users\sander and is called .pixinsight-license

Yes, thanks.  That is where I put my license as well, but PI still asks me for activation code, etc.   

Guess I need a new code...

Thanks for the help Sander -- I just fixed it!

I uninstalled, dowloaded the latest version via distribution center, re-installed, and it found the license.  Yea!
