ST-2000XCM calibration question
« on: 2010 December 14 11:03:53 »
Hi,
I have seen step by step instructions to calibrate and stack DSLR images.

What would be the procedure with the .fit images produced with my OSC camera ?

I am using DSS now and would like to go entirely with PI of course ;)

I have all darks, flats and bias frames standing by

Thanks,

JG Moreau

Thanks David, i am looking specifically for OSC bayer images.
I am obviously doing something wrong as integrated image is pink and full of hot pixels  :(

Anyone successfully using the procedure with OSC .fit images ?

What's the problem following exactly the DSLR instructions? Your only difference is file format, which in fact is a benefit.
For the rest, it should really be the same.

This is a late reply -

The only thing I have to do extra for my OSC:

I blur my flats
I debayer using batch debayer before registration
