Authentication error on new PC
« on: 2011 February 18 07:45:03 »
Hey guys,

I submitted a question on this by email, but afterwords realized I probably should have posted it here.

I just setup a new PC and am having trouble getting PixInsight to authenticate.  Here are the details:

OS:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

PixInsight (first try): 64bit - latest version from distribution page.
PixInsight (second try): 32bit - latest version from distribution page.

I've not yet tried going back to an older version to see if that would work.   Between the two attempts, I did use the Uninstaller to remove the 64bit version prior to installing the 32bit version of PixInsight.

Initially I thought... maybe their authentication server is down... but the error message seems to indicate a response directly from the server:
"Authentication error.  The server says: 'INVALID AUTHORIZATION CODE'"

Any thoughts?

Glenn

Hi Glenn

did you copy the "pixinsight-license" file in the "My Documents" folder ?
