That would actually be very useful - collate all the data that you feel is relevant (quoting source or contributor as you feel necessary - even just referring to the original Forum thread number would be enough) and put it in the Tutorials or the Tips and Trick section as you see fit.
And, don't even worry if you don't get your facts 100% correct - it is often when the collated data is re-read that you and others will spot errors, or make suggestions for further improvements.
