Process icons shortcuts?
« on: 2010 May 25 05:50:36 »
I've managed to lose the option to access the process icons from the shortcut bar on the far left of the screen.  Process History, Views, etc still there.

Could someone educate on how to get this back please?   :-[

Luckily this is one of the things PI does according to common GUI 'standards'. The 'View' menu is used to control optional GUI elements.

View -> Explorer Widows

Ctrl+Alt+P
or
Main Menu > View > Explorer Windows > Process Explorer

:)

Don't worry - I manage to 'lose' these windows all the time :laugh:

It is usually because I click the little red 'x' on their apparition, whereas just clicking on the workspace background is usually enough to 'slide them' away.

You'll eventually figure out where everything 'hides'!

Yeah it's a bummer they don't slide out of the way automatically anymore.

They will do again in 1.6.1 ;)

Thanks again guys.  I was wondering exactly how I'd managed to perform the disappearing trick, so handly to know/understand about the red cross.  Had used 1.5 long enough to like them sliding out of the way, so great news that's coming back too.    :D
